My RT's hitch ball is showing some wear and rust. Does anyone know what size it is so I can order a cover? Thanks. What material and type do you recommend?

It's 1 7/8". I would suggest you do a Google search for hitch ball covers and take your pick.

I have used this one for years on my Goldwing, never rattled and the chrome has held up, still shinny after 10 years

Thank you all for the information. I've oredered a hitch over on eBay. BTW, is the ball supposed to be greased? This is my first trailer.
