Out of Hybernation WOHOO

I got my :spyder2: out of hibernation today WOHOO! it was a chilly ride only in the 40's this morning. It warmed up to the 50's.

It felt awesome to ride the spyder again after it was in for its looooooooooooooooooooooong spyder nap. After I got home from picking up my :spyder2: I went for a ride, and I got a :thumbup:'s from people. Their is still salt on the roads. We are going to get rain tonight thru Friday night, then turn to snow in the higher elevations. Deanna

I missed my :spyder2: when it was for it's looooooooooooooooooong winters nap( snow, cold, snow) Deanna

I had been worried that the snow-melt runoff from the snow banks onto the roads would be bad & get me dirty & wet but it was not a problem. The field are largely still snow covered with lots of lakes in them & people are still ice fishing in the regular lakes.

Going to snow tonight after being about 50 today.

Last year I got my spyder out of hibernation on April 10th. You don't how what the weather is going to be like in April! Deanna

Some of our rivers are wide open water is flowing and so far no ice jams that I know of. Yesterday when I got home I gave my :spyder2: its first wash. On of our larger lakes a truck went thru the ice, the 2 guys got safely. Deanna

I left work around 12:30pm on Friday because it was such a nice day. I got home, geared up and took the spyder for a ride. The afternoon temp in my area was around 66 degrees F and sunny. I went to St.Albans VT and stopped for lunch at a local Sports Pub & Grill and had a tasty burger and fries and a cold brew. It sure was great to ride the roads than to be at work. (I love my flex time work schedule). Saturday, I went to work and it was snowing and temps dropped about 40 degrees from the Friday temps. It's the Northeast...Blink and the weather will change! :gaah:

Less than two weeks ago this is where I was on the snowmobile trails about an hour Northeast from where I live. I do enjoy snowmobiling, but now I'm ready to enjoy a warm spring and summer and tour on my Spyder. I hope the warmer temps will come soon and stay for a while.

The temps yesterday were in the 30's, I hope we get warmer weather soon, and it stays. So I can put more miles on my :spyder2:, I am looking forward to the riding season, it has been a very long winter here in the Northeast. Deanna
