When I had my RS I installed a cheap $30-40 HID kit from Ebay.It was good for the 3 years I had the Spyder and never had a problem.

Just be aware, there are some reports that the lower quality ballast associated with the inexpensive HID kits doesn't play well with the semi-automatic transmission.

sadly you can't test drive hid's...there have been many issues when installing them. :dontknow:

My DDM tuning HIDs have digital ballasts. Put them in my Tundra and my RT. Lifetime warranty too. Had the replace one of the bulbs in my truck because it start modulating.
