Front Elka Shocks ?

Got front Elka's installed yesterday and wonder why they are upside down compared to the Fox shocks? Fox shocks had the outer coil up at the top and these Elka's are opposite. Are they installed right?

they are supposed to go the other way, but i think if you call elka they will say it's ok

I would check with Elka ............ if they are on upside down you will have problems.

You have them the same way up as me. I was told by Elka to put them that way.

As to why they mount "differently"... :dontknow:
It has to do with how the internals of the shock are arranged...
