I purchased a 2011 RT last week 3 hours away from my home. I live in maine. Its kind of chilly "lol". But my intent was to just drive this home. Now the weather is calling for rain, so I'm looking at Uhauls 6x12 enclosed trailer only because its got the width I need at the door opening to still drive it in. I know the seat height is 30.4 inches but how tall is it from ground to top of windshield?

Any other suggestions would greatly be appreciated

Rich

I believe you would also need ramps, because I think that is a cargo trailer (no door ramp). This was just in case you overlooked that point.

Just went out and measured my 2014. Sixty-two inches from floor to top of windshield.

Do you have a decent snowmobile suit? That would keep the cold and wet out...

Look at the cost of the rental, then look at buying good riding gear? I would invest in riding gear and ride the spyder home. I would then have the gear next time it rains.

I rented a uhaul 6x12 open trailer without the ramp this past weekend to bring mine home 5 hrs each way. Just look for sloped drive way to back trailer up to level trailer. Take some 2x4s along to help also

Buy good gear and ride it. They don't melt in the rain!

I agree. I would of like to ride mine home but there was still snow over the mtns. Dose it count if I sit on it while trailering?
