does anyone know specs "WxL" driver seat only?im trying to understand why I sit so forward on a suppose comfort seat,wanna make sure I got a comfort seat not a production one.never sat on it before new seat was put on with drivers back rest

From the center line of the glove box to the seam where the back support starts is 17" on my Comfort Seat (put my tape even with the center of the glove box and ran it up the middle of the seat to the stitching where the lumbar support starts). I can't get to my stock seat to take a measurement but it should be 15".

BRP has used the word "comfort" to describe almost every one of its seats. The Comfort Seat is not stock on any model. The seat on the Limited is the stock seat with different stitching and the words "Limited" on it.

when I ordered it,it had no driver back rest and dealer said in order to get a driver back rest is to get a 2014 comfort seat so after 1800 miles I don't feel relaxed back far enough so before I go and order another seat I have to make sure im back as far as I can go,if not im gonna order one

There are after market back rests available for pre 2014 stock and comfort seats. Utopia makes one. The nice thing about the 2014 seat is that the hole is already cut for the backrest. One warning though on the BRP backrest, it is not adjustable.

yeah found out all of this too late.bought new unseen.told the dealer I needed a stereo and a drivers backrest.being a 2013 the stock seat didn't have the cut out so I was sure he said that I had to go with a new 2014 rt comfort seat in order to have the backrest...looking for receipt to comfirm.but if it says comfort seat then I will be calling up to make an appt..3hr drive..lol I love the rt just like to get comfortable before making mine my own with other add ons.thanks again

The 14 stick seat also can accept the backrest. It is the same length as your 13 seat. There are two different part numbers for the backrest so be sure they order the right one. The Comfort seat backrest won't fit on the stock seat

Here is a picture of the two seats for 2013 side by side. The standard seat is on the bike and the comfort seat has not yet been installed.

As you probably know, the 2014/2015 comfort seat will also fit the 2013 RT. It is actually a bit MORE comfortable than the 2013 and earlier comfort seat, and, as folks have said above, you can order a backrest from BRP for it, which gives you some options. I actually like the Utopia backrest better though, because you can adjust it for and aft, as well as up and down. (I didn't have the option of ordering a 2014 comfort seat because it wasn't made in the "Antler Brown" color.)
