i was very lucky growing up in Newport News, VA...you see my father worked at NASA Langley and literally built EVERY Apollo spaceship from the 1960's through the Space Shuttles until he retired in 1986. As a kid and young adult he would always bring me by the fab shop and show me what was going on.
