With weather permitting I hope to make my first test ride on a new RT this Saturday. Heck never even sat on one yet. Will do it even in a rain if not too heavy. Kind of excited about it. Has rained here every day for about a week now.

If possible make it a 2014 or 2015 RT because they have the 1330 engine and 6 speed transmission.

Saturday is looking a bit better - enjoy your ride! Don't "white knuckle" the grips!! Just relax & ride.

Ride relaxed is good advice. Over control makes the :spyder2: feel "twitchy" to some.

:agree: x 2 on testing out the 1330 triple.

A big +1! That 1330 with 6-speed will kidnap you.

?Took delivery of my Spyder RT last September, and had a couple of weeks to learn all her little ways, then it was off to Europe with my partner on his Golding. Big learning curve, but brilliant fun. Spyder took it all in her stride, from motorways to steep twisty mountain passes, also some tracks with grass in the middle. Well you are bound to get lost now and then. 4000 miles later we arrived back home. It was a great trip and Spyder never put a wheel wrong. Now we are just waiting for Spring ( takes a while to come to Scotland) and we'll be off again.
