It was a beautiful, mild day in East Tennessee and I heard the call of the road. The RT hesitated when I pushed the start button and I quickly looked at the kill switch, but it was on. I pushed the start button once again, but more firmly this time. It cranked briefly and started. I let it warm up until the fan came on and headed out. I know it's not spring yet, but it's just around the corner. Anyone else get the opportunity to enjoy the day?

I didn't get out today but yesterday we had our monthly SRA ride. We had 20 or so Spyders show up on a sunny and warm day. It was a great way to spend a February day.

Today our SCRC joined two other clubs and rode 200 miles in 70 degree weather. Rode from the high desert of California to Ojai CA on the coast near Santa Barbara CA. Temp was 65 to 84 degrees. Sweeeeeeeet riding weather.

Got out on Saturday with 52 other riders and rode from Mission Motorsports to Fallbrook thru the mountains to Temecula, Lunch at Chile's, then off to Mission Motorsports via the Ortega Highway. Around 190 miles on a beautiful warm day in SOCA. Saw 4 RTs and a white F3. Just a note, beside my ST we had a RT also. Great day all told. However I did not take any pictures. Sorry Gang!

I got a chance to log in about 125 miles here in the heart, and northern part of N.C.. Today the temps were in the lower 70's, and nearly broke a record. Next weekend the highs are suppose to be in the mid 30's:shocked:.

My wife and I went on a short 30 mile ride in Santa Ynez, and ended up doing about four times that...

Yesterday and today would have been great riding here in the Treasure Valley of Idaho, and lot's of folks were out on their two wheelers. But alas, my 'nid is at the dealer to have the rear suspension air bag leakage checked out, plus yesterday I was at a Lions convention. Our featured guest was from Kerrville, TX. He said when he got to Boise on Wednesday it was 5° warmer here than it was in Kerrville!

Had Glory out on Saturday for a while when it was 71 degrees and again on Sunday afternoon with a high of 68 degrees. :2thumbs: Now it is back in the 30's this morning (30+ degree change). On well, it was nice while it lasted. Now it's back to reality! :lecturef_smilie: :gaah:

....200 miles on new 2014 RT-S. Another 60 miles for today with a Patriot Guard Rider funeral planned for tomorrow. Spring is in the air -- but I've lived in Texas long enough (60 yrs.) to know it can get 'frosty' again.

Ride safe.

We joined with another :spyder2: to ryde up the Ohio River about 50 miles, cross back into WV and have lunch at a great restaurant that has a huge food bar. Wonderful to have 50 degree weather here this time of year. We promised ourselves that if it was 40+ degrees and dry we would try to ryde:bowdown: This coming week does not look too promising though:banghead:

I'm kind of glad you folks in the southern half of the USA are getting nice riding weather, but on the other hand I'm kind of bummed by being here in the northern half with a 5 or 6 week wait yet to begin ryding. Even the Ryders in the southern half of Ohio are at least getting some ryding time, while us up closer to Lake Erie are still snowed/iced or frozen in yet.

a few of us rode to New Orleans for some Mardi Gras madness... it was fun... day was perfect... 77 degrees and sunny... was able to ride without a jacket..
after watching a parade... we went into the French Quarter for beignets & coco at Cafe' DuMond.. ride home was great too..

My wife and I rode both Saturday and Sunday this weekend. Temps were great. Saw hundreds of bikes but no Spyders. Wore my arm out waving. Weekends like these make me glad I bought my Beast.

My new RT is still in the box at the dealer. No point in getting it yet when we just keep getting more snow. :sour: Have fun breaking my heart all you southerners!

Was 70-75 this weekend, met my brother on Angeles Crest highway (he has 2012 RT) and we took it up to Newcombs ranch for some lunch. Anyone not familiar with Angeles Crest should look it up, pretty amazing road.
