and i am sure you scholars will get it.

YOU ARE IN YOUR ROOM, AT YOUR HOUSE, AND IT IS PITCH BLACK IN THERE. YOU HAVE ONE MATCH, AND YOU KNOW THERE IS A CANDLE IN THE ROOM. WHAT WOULD YOU DO

RIDDLEż lacking info i have a match, ok do I have something to strike it with? New or used candle? It does matter, as does how it is contained. Tea light candle i hope. Also not answered, am i on opposite side of room from its location? Not trying to spoil the riddle just how my mind works. Srry

if i wanted light i would just turn on the light, otherwise i would just turn the tv on, if i had no electricity i would just turn
