I tend to always look down at the brake while applying it and releasing. I found this works better for me. :)

Same here. And that really smarts!:yikes:
1. I try to look down at it.
2. I point my foot out, away from the peg.

Parking brake will release easier if:
1. It has been lubed within recent history.
2. You apply pressure to the regular brake pedal with your right foot while releasing the pariking brake with your left.

I Have a badd left, hip SO use a cane, too apply, & release parking brake , butt any-thing a couple ft. long would work better than bang'n up a shinn. :2thumbs:
