Here in my area of Southwestern CT the weather gurus are predicting 24" - 36" of snow.:yikes::yikes: Got the snowblower out & the generator set up & ready to go. Only 54 days until spring.:banghead::banghead: The wife & I are seriously looking at moving back home to Austin, Texas to get away from all of this. I could be riding today down there instead of just looking at the RT sitting in the garage with a battery tender hooked up. :(:(

Yep, a weather forecaster's job is the ONLY job in America where you can be wrong 100% of the time and still keep your job???????

I feel for you Dwayne but if you can keep that crap over your way, it will be much appreciated. :shemademe_smilie: :roflblack:
I already started on Deb's STL to get it ready for spring. I put on RT bars and I still have under carriage lighting (pink), Running lights, better speakers, a Utopia backrest and some new graphics to do. It will help to pass the time.

I am watching this and hoping that all will go well. Twenty four to thirty six inches along with blizzard conditions are bad situations indeed.

Hope you folks get through this one okay.:pray:

you left Austin for Conn. Why..!! :roflblack: you see the mistake now..?? Hope it is not as bad as they predict. Weathermen are like side effect warnings..they don't want to be wrong so they go for the max...stay in stay warm...

I'm praying for all you SpyderLovers in the northeast. I hope you have plenty of supplies and some heat source that doesn't depend on electricity. Hang in there!

Here in the Sierra Nevada mountains in Northern California I have not used my snow blower in 3 years
We need the water so I would not mind some snow
If we don't get some water farmers and ranchers are going to get hurt bad and food priced will be skyrocketing

Let's hope that this storm moves a bit further East...
It's been pretty quiet up here; no serious accumulation to speak of, but the night is still young!

Snow is suppose to start in early morning here in Vermont, But we are only getting 5-10 inches of snow. New York has "ALL Hands on deck".

This afternoon I saw 10 power trucks from Canada heading south on the interstate. Our power company's up here are READY for the Nor-Easter. They have closed some of the schools ( in the southern part of the state) already. I hope that the Nor-Easter moves out to the Ocean!
and not inland. Hurry UP SPRING!!!

 Well this was disappointing... :gaah:
The storm DID move East, and we ended up with less than two inches of the "White Fungus"... :banghead:
At least the shoveling was minimal!

So far we have about one foot of the wicked white stuff & it is still snowing. Our governor instituted a statewide travel ban except for emergency vehicles. We got a "Code Red" call from our town's first selectman (mayor) stating that only life threatening emergencies would get a response from EMS.

We shut our plant down based on the forecasts of 3 feet of snow.
I'm making the most of the extra day, doing wash and such.
So far I see about 8" in the driveway.
This, from the same people who predict global warming !

We didn't get the "dumping" I was hoping for, but we got enough for me to plow my clients drives.
