I had a svc. mgr. tell me if I did a cat bypass it would change the amount of back pressure, and the timing and fuel mixture would essentially have to be changed to compensate.
Is he right?

yes it will change some thing.... but ALL SPYD3Rs are controlled by 'electronics'... this little computer reads engine functions a thousand times per second (i'm sure i'm wrong on that number, could be more or less), and will adjust your air-fuel mixture accordingly... hundreds of us have done the 'by-pass' with little to no effects on function of the engine...
your call, do what you think is right for you...

how would a "cat by-pass" on a Spyder affect warranty ??

I think it's because your adapting/adjusting/negating part of the emissions equipment required by law (or so I heard a lawyer say 1 time:joke:)
If your state does'nt do emission inspections, go for it:thumbup:, it's ur :ani29:
