It is going up for auction at Mecum. Jerry Lee has owned it for 55 years. Expected to go for a million plus.

The killer mentioned this bike in his recent autobiography. This was one of two special editions made by HD.

One was for Jerry Lee and one for Elvis.

Jerry Lee got the first one and Elvis the second. Jerry Lee says Elvis was really pissed off that he didn't get the first one and grumbled about it for months.

They apparently spent a lot of time together at Graceland where Jerry Lee would come visit on his bike or his latest automobile acquisition.

The friendship ended when he took a new Lincoln Continental up the road while completely stoned, drove up the lane to Graceland and misjudged the length of the hood on the Lincoln and took out Elvis' gate. The staff called the cops and had him arrested. Elvis looked on from a window but didn't intervene.

great info and historical background. But I would buy it for what it is and not who owned it... so it is way over priced...
