Do you think that you might need a full-sized ostrich to feed all of them? :roflblack:

Yes, more like chicken but very dry if not cooked properly.

Friend of mine was on a African hunt, and the first morning they asked what he wanted for b,fast. He asked for 3 scrambled eggs. What he didn't know is they were ostrich eggs. Said it was one heaping platter of scrambled eggs.

Add some Bacon, Ketchup, and Hot Sauce; you'd have a real meal! :2thumbs: nojoke

Good solution. Order an ostrich burger sometime. They are around if you look a bit.

For quite a few years; we had a commercial farm up here that sold ostrich and emu products that were locally grown... ;)
Not too shabby...

Every once in a while; the local Bear population would cause a ruckus, and everyone would get excited! :yikes:

I've eaten Ostrich in Kenya and Emu in Australia. The Ostrich was very tough. Emu wan't bad.

The Ostrich was tough?
I bet that you forgot to tenderize it with hot sauce and bacon! :D
(my solution for EVERY issue in the kitchen!)

It was at Carnivores restaurant in Nairobi. They roasted all sorts of African game and brought it around to the tables. I don't remember if hot sauce was available. And where's the adventure in bacon?

If you were getting the African Bacon; try asking the Wild Boar that question! :yikes:
