Eazy Rizer Big Blue for Spyder

:thumbup:I just received this lift and my Spyder it's currently in the air. I've already installed the BaJa Ron's sway bar. Next project is the bump skid. I just love it! FYI I asked the dealer to change the oil and it was 230.00. I won't be asking them to change my oil again, that's crazy!

How stable is it with the Spyder in the air and is it bolted to the floor?

Not sure I'd want to get under it without something for support, like jack stands.

Can you show us how it hooks to the Spyder? Some pics from under while its on the lift would be great.

I second the thought that it does not LOOK stable. But looks at internet pics can be decieving. Are there provisions to bolt it down? Please, you thoughts on the stability and how its used would be much appreciated.

I have been using this lift for a few months now. It does not need bolting to the floor and the bike feels very safe. I am very pleased with the product and have no concerns over stability.

Do you have to remove the right side floor board to push the lift close enough to the Spyder to get it on the frame? Having never removed that, is it a PIA or just a couple bolts?

I see it sits on the front frame section to support the weight and uses the rear shock mount to stabilize. Is there anything that helps stabilize side to side or are those the only two points of contact?

with the RT 2010 t0 2012 there is a U bolt which secures the right hand foot peg in place. For the 2013 RT models onwards you do have to remove the stock foot plate. I have done this, the rubber pad pulls off and there are 4x6mm bolts to remove. Takes less than 2 minutes and goes back just as quick. I'm sure a man of your calibre would beat that time by half;) Once the foot plate is off the bike, the lift slides under and you fit the U bolt to the foot plates frame work.

I just got mine delivered couple of weeks ago but haven't had a chance to put it together yet. Can't wait to try it out! The guy was telling me that the newest model is backwards compatible with all Spyder models so it will be great. Have fun wrenching you guys:thumbup:
