Do I remember someone posting that their Spyder does nothing when the key was turned on? If so .. please post up to what you found?!

Dash totally blank. Fender lights come on. Nothing else (no limp mode, no nothing). http://www.spydertalk.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/TgC_emoticon142.gif I've changed keys, disconnected battery, jumped up and down on it, talked sweetly to it, pleaded, begged and cried. http://www.spydertalk.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/blink.gif Nothing has helped. Battery has full charge. Any ideas? http://www.spydertalk.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wall.gif

Sam , I had that same problem not long ago ... pull the #2 relay in the fuse box and swap it with # 3 relay ... that will most likely get you rolling again !!! then go to an auto parts store and get a replacement ... 19271 41-5100 is the part number , its a common relay used on many vehicles ...

Note: Dealer should replace the relay or reimburse you. This is a warranty issue.

That did it!! WORKED! Thanks, Vinnie and everyone else who posted.

Regarding the warranty replacement .. unless the readily available relay that spyder3rdr mentions above is exorbitant in cost, I'll just go to the local parts store and buy a couple rather than messing with the dealer (time, effort, travel, gas, frustration, etc.)....:sour:

Just mail the dead relay to the dealer with explanation of the problem.
Of course all they will do at most is mail you another Tyco relay.....and you know how well those work :(

But then at least the dealer knows about the problem and hopefully the word gets back to BRP.
