Don't tell me no one else has ever tried this before. I grew up on a farm in NC, and we used that method to unload all types of stuff. Tobacco sticks, hay bales, etc. You do what you have to.

It is how we yank tanks out of airplanes.
We did it with pallets of sod. Tie pallet to tree. Floor it. Right off the truck! Works great!

Until you miscalculate, and drop the front end of the truck about five feet! :yikes:
(Used to unload firewood off of a 1964 Jeep pickup like that...)
