665 garmin for 660 cradle

Thank you Jonnizingo for your info on the cradle pin exchange for converting the 665 to the 660 standard cradle. It worked great on all XM features. You saved me $220 and a whole day. Thanks again. 20 minutes and easy peasey.

Glad it worked out. Other nice thing is you get a functional 660 harness if you decide to sell the 660 that came with the spyder. Enjoy your extended riding season - ride safe. Here in Michigan - we're pretty much done.

Jack did you sell the Garmin from your 13?

No Ann that's the one I put on the 2014. It was a 665. 660 came with the 2014. Took the front (pin side) of the cradle off and exchanged it so the XM-WX-and traffic function now work on the 665. Also moved the XM40 antennae over. Everything now works. 660 cradle will not allow all functions of the 665 to work.

Cleaning the hanger for the Lazer Alignment party the 6th. Will see you on the 4th.
