I've seen several videos of removing the Passenger seat...but none for the Driver's seat.
How does that come off?

Tool kit lives under the Passenger Seat on an F3. ;)

So...to re-ask the question...Does anyone know if the F3's Driver's seat can be removed and if so, what is underneath it. (I've seen under the Passenger seat.)
:dontknow: Thanks!

Haha... I can only assume he saw the post on the front page and didn't know what forum it was under and there is only one production model out there where the seat doesn't lift.

You know, the RS and ST is good training to remember to put the seat down when you are done with your nozzle....

That is one of the things I won't miss about my RS.... thank god I'll be able to fill it up without all that work

I don't think there would be very much in the way of serviceable stuff underneath the F3 seat. Maybe the upper shock mount or maybe the alternator, not sure without some kind of diagram or pictures. Since the F3 isn't exactly on the market yet a service manual probably isn't either.

even if i made the mistake of thinking he was talking about a rt, i still think there is some motor parts under the seat

The driver's seat got installed somehow, and it will come back off the opposite way they put it on.

Unless BRP glued it on...

What's underneath??? My bet is the spine and assorted Spyder innards.

Should have one in my hands next week to start taking apart. I'll see what I can do for you. :doorag:
