Very Nice! Perhaps the butt turned the other direction to grab easier? And perhaps a spring to slightly raise the handle with the lid open to grab easier? May not matter as that probably would not be a "get to quick" situation.

That pistol may have been riding "Butt-Forward, because the owner is right handed. If you're along side the bike; that would be the preferred configuration.
It doesn't appear to be the sort of storage that would allow for grabbing steel while riding the bike...
For that; you'd need a similar setup to this: 98669

Was actually going to have that made for my Harley, but went this route because it solved the "easy access " issue. 98675

I DO prefer the security offered by the ones that you posted! :2thumbs:
One on each side of the bike: TWICE the firepower! :D

I think the storage in the floor board is a good idea, but it would have to be fitted well to keep the gun dry.

:agree: Even a Stainless Steel firearm; isn't!

Hey those are cool, the only thing wrong with them is by the time you stop, get off open the lid
and get out the gun it's to late..;:yikes:

So.... as with all farkles, I'm trying to imagine why I might need that one. I'm having a little problem. ...perhaps I don't lead an exciting enough life? ;)

Life can become very "exciting" when one doesn't have one when one needs one.

:agree: This one is for when the annoyance, becomes a MAJOR pain in the butt! :yikes:

:agree: Again...
Far better to have it, and not need it; than need it, and NOT have it.

Do you have a .44 Mag? :dontknow:
I've owned several; a fun gun, with just about enough horsepower to be interesting!
Currently I've got a Super Redhawk (7.5" barrel, carrying a Leupold 2x scope on top)
Prior to that: I had a conventional Redhawk, and a Super-Blackhawk. Both with similar barrel lengths and optics...

My favorite handload for all of them: 24.2 grains of Win 296, CCI Magnum primers, and a Hornady 240 gr. JHP stuffed down it's throat...
