I've seen a few Spyders add on those small adhesive mirrors to their current mirrors and was wondering if they help much ? Stock mirrors are weak.

I tried them and did not like them. That's when I added the mirror ext. Kewl metals sells. I think Dtang has them?

I have the round spot mirrors and they do help. This forum is a great place for ideas and feedback, but since personal riding style and preferences are so varied, only you can decide on what works for you. This one is an easy one to try. Not only are the mirrors cheap, but you can put them on in a minute and if you don't like them, take them off just as fast. If you want to try most mods, you are out $$$$ and time for installation.

I too have added the small round ones to the outer corner and find it eliminates the blind spot my body produces. I like them and they are cheap.

Yup I had them and they did help but with the NMN Risers, I may have to break down and get extensions. The most comfortable place for my hand position just happens to put my hands and handlebars right in my mirrors. Also, as nice as the small mirrors were, at highway speeds with vibration I really couldn't see that well out of them at any distance. Not wearing my glasses while I ride may have something to so with that of course. LOL Anyway, I took off the little mirrors to allow more surface area of the regular mirror to be used until I decide what to do next.

I use a 2" ajustable spot (Advanced Auto $2.98 + tax for a pair). No problem with vibration even at highway speeds. Allow me to see behind and also have minimized my blind spots. Great cheap mod. :2thumbs:

Yep.

The mirror extensions seemed expensive back when my Spyder was one day old, but now I continually rank them as in my list of top five mods.

After installing the 4" risers... I got the Mirror extensions and they WORK for me. Even if I pull a tag-along...

Adjustable round spots on the outside of mine made a big difference, but you still have to do a head check at night. If you decide to move them do not use a razor scraper as the BRP mirrors are not glass :yikes: and they will be scratched. Ryde Safe and Enjoy:thumbup:

Do you happen to have a part #?

Part number CO200 $1.99 for single pack. It is just a standard stock item it the mirror section of Advanced Auto Parts.
