I have been wanting to add music to my bike for a while now, but could not find the right product. JL Audio makes a nice system, but parts alone are $1,700! I found a company called Cycle Sounds out of Kansas City and they have a speaker system made specifically for Spyders. I ordered their premium model with 200 watts of power. There are two 3" speakers which are of top quality and look like factory equipment. There is a digital amp that fits next to the coolant bottle and a dock that attaches above the gas tank, behind the handle bars. Any MP3 system can be used. The sound is terrific and can be heard clearly at 70+mph. I love the system and highly recommend it.:doorag:968979689896899

I think it would work nicely on ST's and RT's without current systems.

Perfect addition for a Spyder without an OEM sound system. Happy you found this, and glad you shared it all.

I enjoy the system on my RT, but the speakers are not loud enough for me, and the distortion worsens noticeably as you turn up the volume. Sounds like you ended up with a better system.
