1. you can't open your seat and realize you're turning the key the wrong way?
2. your Spyder won't start because you don't have your foot on the brake?
3. your Spyder wont go into gear because you don't have your foot on the break?
4. you forget to put the parking break on and turn off your bike in a crowded area? beep beep beep
5. your friends are all set to ride and you have to wait for the systems check to finish?
6. you're set to make the great escape but your Spyder won't go because you forgot to take off the parking break?
7. you're being cool by reversing out of a tight spot and then have to sit and wait for it to shift back into first gear?
8. you want to up shift but down shift instead? YIKES!

get a manual..!! :roflblack::roflblack: but I do see it a lot when we are on group rydes. The old pros have it worked out but it takes time to get the sequence righ and smooth. The only one I don't see is anyone pulling down the safety card.....:roflblack:

I do that every time. :2thumbs: I didn't think the bike would start if you don't do that before you push the mode button.

3. your Spyder wont go into gear because you don't have your foot on the break?

Is that a change for 2014s???? No need to have foot on brake to put in gear on my 09 or 13.

How about when you stuff the trunk so full that, when it clicks, you get this feeling that you will never get it open again. It will become a time capsule.

...if you place the transmission in neutral prior to shutting engine off. I place engine in neutral, engage parking brake, open frunk - turn engine off. Get off bike and place helmet in frunk. When I go to ride again, I turn key to open frunk, turn key to "on" position and while bike does its 'thing' I get helmet/gloves etc. on. Hit the Mode button then the start button. I'm ready to get on the bike and ride. Can start bike from either side. Works on all Semi Auto equiped bikes as far as I know. Worked on my '08 and works on my '10.

Only 1,5 and 6 on my SM, but even that annoyance can still raise a grin.

To solve #5 I turn the key on just before I get ready to put on my helmet, so by the time I get helmet on and get on the bike is ready to start.

I've got one that I do every once in a while.
