Do you think you would have any clearance issues loading an RT on this trailer?

Only 6x10. I would put a rock guard on the front and maybe some sides so I could carry some boxes as well.

Pictures can be a bit deceiving, but it sure appears to sit low enough! :2thumbs:
6x10? YOu'll have about 4 or f5 inches side clearance, and maybe 7 or 8 inches; front to back...
Tight; but do-able!

They have one that is 6'6" wide by 12 ' long.....that may be a better fit.

:agree: It's much better to have the room, and not need it; than to need it, and not have it.

I use a 6x12 triple crown utility trailer - works wonderfully and < $1,300.00!

I like The Ultimate Trailer but it is so expensive. Yours looks to be a bargain. I am just worried about clearance issues, i.e. scraping the nose on the ramp.

should work fine. But if you want to carry more you should go to a larger one.... the longer your ramp the better for clearance...

Mine is a 6'5" wide+ 10"long. I have no problems with the size of the trailer. I ordered and just received new folding ramps. My ramp was way too tall at 6'. It was a sail that really dragged at highway speed. I would highly recommend having a spare tire rack and tire installed. Also extra tie downs. Tom :trike:

I have an Aluma 7210, with a bifold ramp. When it's hooked to my truck, I use 2 short pieces of 2 by 6 at the ramp for "insurance" against "nose drag". I've gone several thousand miles with the RT on it, with no problems. I am planning to add a rack kit to it, and a rock guard, but unless you travel on unpaved roads, there shouldn't be a problem.
I did paint a stripe on the bed as a load guide, and am planning on a different tie down set up.

I would recommend a 7x12. Mine is enclosed. Plenty room to haul stuff and get around to tie it down. JMO For a few extra bucks I would buy the enclosed trailer. Motorcycles and Spyders get filthy when towing out in the open. You will spend the first half of the rally cleaning it up. Not to mention rock chips and win shied damage. Enclosed trailers for the Spyders start at $3500 new.

[ I have an Aluma 6 X 12 with the same bi-fold ramp gate. No issues at all for my 2014 RTS. This assumes that you won't be loading at 20 mph.

What the Captain means is "Beavertail". (back of trailer slants down so ramp is at a lower angle and not so high.

:agree: This would be my first choice in sizes... In a tandem-axle Vee-Nose!

That way; it can even double as a portable garage...
