Good morning,

I am wondering what the MPG might be for this bike. I know that it depends on how you ride it. Or is it to early to tell.

I'm sure there's some unofficial data out there cause they've been ridin these things around for quite some time.. Lamont or Pierre might have an "Unofficial" comment.. No doubt we will be getting lots of info coming before these things hit the dealerships.. I'm ordering mine on Wednesday 😎

I was told by my dealer - one of test riders that a 250 mile tank was realistic at normal speeds (not 42mph)

Mike,

:congrats: Which one, and which color? :2thumbs:
The RTs are getting pretty darn good mpgs... I'm at 39.6 mpg for an overall average right now.
But I recall it mentioned, that they've lowered the gearing on the F-3s a bit. The jury is still out on how that would affect the mileage.
(Assuming that it's even true...)

Thanx, Doc! I did read that the F-3 was geared differently and has a 7 gal. tank. If we can expect that kind of range, they still have my interest! "Normal speeds" included how many BURN-OUTS?? :D

 I think that Lamont test-rode my RT up at the factory...
The rear tire is awfully worn... :D

RE Mileage: Since the 1330 ACE in the RT gets around 40 mpg regularly for me, I would assume that the F3 (a lighter weight model) would do a bit better in mileage. Unless, of course it is driven more aggressively--which I think it will be.

Take the new gas tank (7 gallons)--figure 6.5 gallons usable, and you have 260 miles on a tank with the "usual" 40mpg. If you get--say 43 mpg--that's 279.5 miles on tank.

Enough speculation--hopefully, we will hear some actual results soon.

:popcorn::popcorn: No BBQ here. Gasoline and BBQ don't mix well. :roflblack:
