So excited - after a year of riding on the back of my partner's BMW GS1200, we took the plunge and bought me a 2012 RT Limited.

LOVE LOVE LOVE.

And now I am the "cool mum" dropping my daughter at school in the morning on the Spyder. :ohyea:

:congrats: and :welcome: !

I had a 2012 RT Limited before I traded it in on my 2014 RT Limtied.

The 2012 RT Limited was a great bike and zero issues -- traded it in at around 7700 miles. It's a good motorcycle based on my experience! :thumbup:

Enjoy your new ride.... :ohyea::ohyea::ohyea::ohyea::ohyea::ohyea:

Yep, your post just about sums it all up!! Good for you!
I was a passenger on two very short rides (on a Harley V-Rod) & decided dive on in, but I'd be darned if I was going to be the passenger again!
My "Beast" is an Orbital Blue 2010 Spyder RTS. I rode 5,000 miles in the first four months I owned it: it was my daily driver, so I drove it daily to college & to work & to the grocery store, etc.
Every time I see him in the garage, I smile. Every time I ride, I am simultaneously ecstatic, content, & exhilarated. I quickly came to the realization that I should started riding a very long time ago...

It looks like there are a lot of couples in similar situations. My wife rode on the back of my bikes for 39 years.

Originally we bought our 2011 RT-S so it would be easier for me when we rode 2-up. Well that lasted about 11 minutes. She now rides the Spyder and I ride the Valkyrie alone. We end up burning twice as much gas, but have twice the fun.

Welcome to the other side.
