I like the modular seating. Looks like you just clamp on the parts to make it a single or 2 seater.

Liking it a bit more...

Now if they only made it with an RS style seating position. I would have to guess this style is the design they plan on going with across the board, the question is how many years will it take to roll out the new look to all models...

The look has grown on me some. I imagine the main thing will be how it feels when you ride it. Plus after a few miles I forget what I am riding because I am in the zone.

It's also growing on me. By the '16 models, maybe I'll be there.

Did you folks notice that these were the "S" versions. That makes me think that there will be some good choices as to various levels of dress and options.

Love the look,

has it been mentioned previously "no windshield?" Is that an add on or are these not going to be ridden at 8o+mph

oops looks like the red one does have one, can't really tell though.

If this is the new face of the Spyder lineup, it looks by the shape of the funk lid(rectangular) that the storage could be increased over the current rounded triangle.

Wait until they see this on Spyder Lovers... Hahaha

Mixed feelings here, I do like the short seat.

My local dealer mentioned the F3 being a completely new addition to their line-up. A Cruiser style Spyder geared toward the more rugged side.
However, it's easy to speculate until the official introduction happens on 9/23/14

I do like the looks of the F3 but it is not for me. I guess I have had wind protection on my rides for the last 40 years or so. And I do, still have, two wheelers with shields of some sort on them. I just can't imagine going on long trips without it. The wind and rain can beat you up at highway speeds. I probally would have considered it 25 years ago regardless simply because it looks so cool! I admit it, perhaps I am getting old. Anyway, I love my electric windshield on My RT. I cut it down so in the low position I can get wind in my face and if needed I raise it up to be in the quiet zone. Can't wait to see the line up on the 23rd.

Not too sure where you are seeing the "S" designation, but one has a windshield and the other doesn't. Pretty sure that I would jot want to be cleaning bugs out of the instrument cluster on the one on the right. :banghead:

There's an 'S' in the upper left part of the front grill.

Yamaha plays this, tickle and laugh for a while, game too. Even in the musical instrument category. Particularly high end pro style keyboards and music workstations.

Holding their cards close and tight to the chest.

It's fun, and obviously keeps the wheels turning.
The mental powers of the keen developers, churning out new designs.

Because they already know what we all want, before we know we want it.
That's their difficult job. Tease tease, tickle tickle. Hahaha, please go buy it today!!

Like others said, I think the S has been on all of the F3's in the pics. "Street" model, perhaps? When the first spy pics came out and before the F3 was noted, I thought it would be named the "S", to go with RT, RS, and ST.

Looking at the earlier non camo pics, there appears to be a cat before the muffler

Hey Lamont 2 questions..

Will the f3 be able to tow the factory 622 trailer and

Would it be possiable to fabricate an air ride suspension on this thing, I need a soft ride lol to many back issues.

:clap::clap:.....Those front wheels are just crying out for some 185 / 55 -15 Toyo Proxes T1R tires....."V" speed rated , I have them and LOVE them..........Mikeguyver :2thumbs:.................PS, the fenders themselves are not the fitment issue.....it's the front bracket, if you shim it out with two thick washers ( one on each bolt ) you will have enough clearance, at least this was all that was necessary on my 2014 RT.

Just looking at the rear of the seat on the Silver/Grey F3 there appears to be a small back/bum support attached. Or am I seeing things?

Hi,
Newbie here.
I also like the looks of the F3.I notice that they have 2 different colored frames, different seat arrangements, and auxillary lighting, different wheels.
The one on the left also has a "dinged" lower grille.
Am looking forward to selling my wing trike and getting one of the new F3's.
Thanks for having such an interesting forum!

Really like what they did with the front end, it doesn't have that "snowmobile" look to it anymore. They should have done that across the board 7 years ago. IMHO
