We pull a Bunkhouse Tent Trailer, so far this year 65 days and 8000mile.
Check out Motocamper Forum for a list of other motorcycle campers.

This would be my idea of camping with the Spyder....

Sorry, I know that's not helpful. If I were much younger, the tent/trailer idea would be fun too.

For some ideas along those lines, check out the pictures in this Google Search (https://www.google.com/search?q=shur+kamp+motorcycle+camper&sa=X&espv=2&biw=1333&bih=683&tbm=isch&imgil=ipUVuZwOaIlqqM%253A%253BXFBNqxYe0DvW3M%253Bh ttp%25253A%25252F%25252Frvs.smartcarguide.com%2525 2F1994-jayco-tent-trailers&source=iu&fir=ipUVuZwOaIlqqM%253A%252CXFBNqxYe0DvW3M%252C_&usg=__G79rBR1htUNdsxJYMZNXLSIsHpQ%3D&ei=cvQNVLyqBI_bsAST84GoDQ&ved=0CEAQ9QEwAw#facrc=_&imgdii=_&imgrc=ipUVuZwOaIlqqM%253A%3BXFBNqxYe0DvW3M%3Bhttp% 253A%252F%252Fi.ebayimg.com%252F00%252Fs%252FMzk3W DYwMA%253D%253D%252Fz%252Fca0AAMXQUmFSpIbn%252F%25 24_1.JPG%253Fset_id%253D880000500F%3Bhttp%253A%252 F%252Frvs.smartcarguide.com%252F1994-jayco-tent-trailers%3B400%3B264).

OldmanzuesWe just retired last year and look forward to spending winters where it doesn't snow as much as it does in PA. I'd love to take the Spyder with us, but my wife won't ride it, so it would only get me into trouble. :banghead:

The link above is a thread on trailer options from rental to DIY. Sorry for my and the communities sarcastic posts
. Glad your here. Everyone wants to help and share info but tend to get off topic in some threads. Hope it helps.

Any Spyder can tow a trailer, all Swingarm hitches will fit all 2008 thru 2014 Spyders , ( they are the same size ) .......My best advice is ...find a Trailer manufacturer that builds the LIGHTEST trailer ....that also has independant TORSION ARM suspension ( they had a list posted here recently ).......Make sure it has LED lights ( less elec. problems )..................Remember the Spyder can only TOW 400 lbs MAXIUM,.....if you buy the BRP 622 trailer it weighs 240 lbs.....EMPTY .......That leaves only 160 lbs of gear .........if you need to carry extra gas , that weighs 7 lbs per Gal.,, 5 G.= 35lb.......10 G.= 70 lb etc...........if you add a cooler ?????............This is why I advise you to buy the Lightest Trailer you can............................I built my trailer and it weighs 85 lbs +/- ..............Good Luck ....................PS , I also have a stiff hitch rather than the conventional BALL type .......................I made this using a " tie rod end " from a pk-up......there's NO snap or clang clang clang etc ......Mikeguyver

Just got back from a weekend camping trip on the Clearwater and Louchsa rivers in Idaho. If you are going to camp a trailer makes it much easier. Have a Mini-Trailer out of Cushing OK. It carried tent, sleeping bags, chairs, air mattress, cooking supplies, food and limited wood well. Remember to read manual and follow weight restrictions. I bought a 50# fish scale to weight tongue and keep below 40#'s. Pull weight is less than 400#. This is a lot of weight! I try to use backpacking and bicycle gear because it is well made and light. Oh ya I forgot fishing gear. If you have any questions MSG me here. Good Luck and have fun.:yes:

We're taking our Spyder camping using a trailer too. The Spyder rides on the trailer behind the motorhome! Now if we were fifty years younger.....

Which Teardrop?
Most of the "Little Guy" trailers, might be a bit too heavy for the Spyder to tow...

Welcome to the fray. Jump in anytime... Hahahaha

Post some pics of your current craft, and smile dang it. ;-)

Enjoy your time well spent here.

A lot of good people to associate yourself with, regardless of your brand make or model.

We paid a little extra for our trailer ($2500), but it is light (75 lbs) the largest they had, has LED lights, and independent torsion bar suspension. It pulls so easy that you hardly know it's there! Good luck! Also, there are some good post of workarounds for the heating issues that some of the 13's are having.

As I've posted before, who needs a trailer, our tent straps behind the backrest:-) Though I did think this trailer was cool:
