Does anyone know if the latest generation Ipod can connect to the cable that plugs into the port in the trunk and be seen as an ipod not just aux input.
I will be ferrying a 2014 from Perth to Alice Springs in Australia. I have a 2012 RT-S and my ipod nano 7th generation does not connect as an ipod. It is only seen as an Aux input. As I don't have a 2014 manual I can't look up the acceptable ipods.
Thanks in advance.

No change in 14 for the ipod connection. Still the older 30pin connector, not lightning connector.

Thanks for the tip. I had read that before but was hoping that BRP had upgraded the connectivity on the 2014 to cater for the current iPod devices.
Will have to explore other alternatives.
