I have a question regarding checking the oil level in a spyder. If you'd let me, I'd like to PM you the question. I don't want to post here because of all the varying opinions/chatter.

Thanks

It just adds a little mystery and peaks the imagination. I have answered quite a few Pm's and appreciate the trust some members put in my knowledge. I am no Scotty though dang I wish he was back.:sour:

IMO it's rude to PM someone you don't know without asking permission, unless your intent is to be rude or trying to defend yourself.

The question I posed to Magdave I asked earlier this week on a 'check your oil thread' and received no response.

Huh?
Seriously, I've been on multiple forums for years and have never heard of someone thinking its rude if you send them a pm without permission. If they don't want to talk to you, they will ignore the pm. Your fine.
Much less drama then creating a thread for public discussion...[emoji41] [emoji106]

He's got you all-set now; I hope... :2thumbs:
I understand that you want to be polite; it sadly seems to be a missing art from now...
I'll sometimes drop a post in a thread warning that a PM was sent. I do it so that hopefully, the message will be seen quicker...

But look at how this thread has blossomed! :firstplace:
