I know I can't possibly be the first '14 owner that wants to use a non BRP trailer and after installing the hitch finding out the plug is completely different than the '10. Does anyone know where to locate the plug that inserts into the Spyder? I was so irritated when the mechanic told me my old pigtail wouldn't fit, it was a real PITA to figure out and put together.

My friend whom has a 2014 cut the square BRP plug off and wired on his own flat four as all the trailers he has have flat four connectors.

While searching the web I found a Spyderlovers thread that said a Hopkins Product # 11147975 fit perfectly. Now all I have to do is cut the original '10 plug off and splice this one on. Yeah, it's on order...

Yep, That's the plug I used on my 2012 RT to pull an aftermarket trailer with the BRP hitch. It works fine. Never had a issue. Assuming the 2014 uses the same hitch and wiring then that's what you need.
