Hi everyone,

By now everyone is back fro Gatlinburg and I'm back from BBB (Bikes-Blues-Barbeque) in Fayetteville. We left from Lake of the Ozarks with a team of 11 bikes, (only one spyder) and travelled down the backroads Friday. Spent Saturday morning cruising the Pig Trail (Hwy 23) and then on to Dickson Street in Fayetteville. I'm not kidding, but there was approximately 75,000 to 90,000 bikes that parked sometimes two deep along the street and cruised all day till 2am at the height of the rally. There were two poker runs, barbeque cook-off, and blues bands (Alman Brothers). Lots of vendors, lots of wild, fun times. Here's some highlights.

Spyder Visits the new HD Showroom in Rogers, AR. In our group there were 8 HD's, 1 Spyder, 1 Lehman HD Conversion Trike, and 1 Goldwing 1977 vintage. Of course all 10 other bikes were Spyder's Escort !!!

Part 3...

I bought my Spyder SE5 because I wanted to ride with my in-laws. Well, part of riding is going places. This was my first rally, and I have enjoyed it tremendously. Of course the novely of a Spyder hasn't worn off. As I said in previous threads, I had some cards made up refering people to our website for everything Spyder. And I gave out about 200 cards ! Only one place that I stopped did not bring someone with questions. Yes, it was real funny how my other riders in our group, with their chomed out bikes got no questions or gawking. But everyone wanted to see the Spyder. (*And by the end of three days, the group was getting pretty annoyed by it*) Well, there was one dealership showing Spyders. I saw about 7 different Spyders. One had corbin bags and I'm definitely getting those for X-mas! One had highway pegs and NM risers. And I'm definitely getting those also! And my wife just granted me my best X-mas present ever.... Her sore butt finally convinced her to "spare no expense" on a comfortable seat, YES! Here's some more pictures. I really enjoyed the No Helmet Law in Arkansas, and sported a dew rag and shades for a great ride on Hwy 23 " THE PIGS TRAIL SCENIC BYWAY ".

Then end of the Pigs Trail, has about 100 bikes there when we arrived about 11am.

Part 4

Just thought of something... by far there were more HD's. With all those liking premium gas... it's a wonder that Fayetteville didn't corner the market on that blend! But spyder just needs 87 octane ! And we pulled up to alot of pumps out of premium, no problem for the Spyder.

super photo's.

And places looking familiar... As I used to live in Siloam Springs, just about 15 miles west of Fayetteville.

Good show.. and glad all is safe.

Looks and sounds like you guys had a great time. +1 on the "more comfortable seat". Keep the rides and ride reports coming.
