I know I read a thread concerning oil used in the 998 engine. But of course I can't find it.
would a kind person point me in the right direction ( to the oil thread)

There have been many threads about it...
DocDoru posted about leakdown tests once also...
It appeared that the 998s are pretty "loose" engines...

There was a thread within the last 2 weeks that mentioned which oils the folks liked and used
amsiol was one of them.
i usual bookmark the threads I want for reference.

threads...I just carry a quart with me. Depending on the ryde/weather/weight etc etc..after 500 miles from 2oz to 5oz's. But that is my machine with the mods done and my ryding style. :thumbup:
