I am so confused with reading this owners manuel, and as I want to start changing my own oil rather than have a dealership doing it...I think I am supposed to get Amsoil, but which blend...and do I have any other options

I run Amsoil 10W-40. Its a little bit more but didnt like the markup on the BRP oil change kits. Oh, and its full synthetic.

Look on the home page. BajaRon sells Amsoil, filters and seal kits.

There should be a label on the side of your Oil Tank, this will tell you what type and Grade you should use, as long as the Oil you use is the same as that specified you should be able to use your brand of choice.

Actually, HiFlo makes K&N oil filters.

I like Amsoil for several reasons. Full Synthetic just means it doesn't have any non-synthetic oil (like a blended product which is just a fancy way of saying you're getting 10% of the good stuff and 90% of the other stuff).

Amsoil is not only Full Synthetic, it's also True Synthetic (which most are not).

All Spyders take the same oil, though the 2014 RT wet clutch is not quite as touchy as previous models. Still, it never hurts to go above and beyond with the clutch. Especially if you're loaded and or pulling a trailer.
