Mines currently going on two weeks, dealer contacted BRP about it because they havent encountered this problem before, running really rich, fouled plugs, hesitating. And its been two weeks since i had it..no loaner spyder either :( i am also buying the comfort seat from them, but whats the longest youve had your spyder in the shop? I am hoping to get it back soon, although my girlfriend sat on the RT tonight and loved it, maybe in a year or so when there arediscounts on the 14...as much as i joked about the RT model, it just seems the best for everyday, and anytime riding.

Mine spent about half of the 2013 riding season in the shop in several large stints, plus all of the winter, plus its been back a few times this year... though now they don't have me bring it in until they are able to work on it...

So far I've had two new Gear Position Sensors, a new ignition system and a new throttle body....
And they still can't figure out whats wrong

Just because I cat wait to get it done. The longest I had to wait was 4 hours, but the dealer gave me a 2014 RTL for a loaner.

2.5 hours..for first service and never been back...do have to say lack of parts is (or shouldn't be) dealer fault but still leaves you without a ryde..

2011 RT-S SM5 was in the shop for two weeks, for an 18,000 mile service. The Service Shop is great, they were training a new Tech.

2 1/2 weeks, waiting for parts. Dealers cannot stock everything, and getting parts from BRP is like trying to squeeze water out of a rock.

Overnight a couple times. When they told me September for oil filters, I took it home and bought the filters elsewhere. :yikes:

2 weeks and counting - it's still there waiting on parts. 10 days to diagnose, rest for parts.
Have a loaner, so OK by me. Put 5 tanks of gas thru the loaner.

3-4hrs tops. If my dealer would keep it longer he would provide a loaner!;)

3 days on my 2008 GS. 5 weeks so far on my 2014 RT. Combination of waiting for a replacement lock set, small (dealer) shop with other jobs going and my willingness to wait for the job to be done right (which it was not).

It's never been in overnight. There were a couple of "all day" affairs, but that was my fault because they were adding farkles.

My 2013 ST Limited spent 5 months out of first 11 months. Was still in shop when I traded it in for my 2013 RT Limited. So far since January 2014 , the RT had not been in the shop except for two oil changes and one recall. Keeping fingers crossed.

Well, update, I may have my spyder back this weekend if all goes well, and with a mostly replaced fuel system.

7 days waiting for a replacement DPS unit to be shipped I over a three day weekend holiday. Not the dealers fault.

Longest was about a month and a half as dealer was attempting to resolve oil leak.

2 hours has been the longest time our 2014 RT L has been in the shop! It had it's first service and I got a demo to ryde while they changed the oil/filter and did the first service check. Plus I got a print out of the BUDS report!

The 2014 RT L has been AWESOME and we're at 7000 miles and counting.... :D:D:D:D:D:D:D

The 2012 RT L was similar in terms of shop time....very few issues / shop time with that Spyder as well!

Going to the dealer on Aug 19th for the rear tire change to a Kumho Ecsta AST -- probably be a 2-3 hour shop time for that! I have arranged with the dealer to use a demo while they work on the Spyder again! :2thumbs:

I think its ridiculous that I am waiting a month for an exhaust tube.

Two days when it wouldn't start once on a Saturday and the dealer had it over the weekend until they could fix it on Monday. Other than that, never more than 3 hours.

3 weeks in the shop for clutch rebuild (2010 RT in 2011). Dealer had to wait for BRP approval because Spyder only had 3400 at the time, then it took a whole week just to get parts.
No more than 2 days here and there with the 2013 and all warranty (Service Bulletins and a bad engine kill switch)!
