2011 spyder RS SM5 idle

my spyder idles at about 1600RPM I have to turn it off to go from reverse to 1st gear can I adjust the idle with the cables on the bars or not Thanks

that's only slightly high. normal is 1350- 1450 . maybe one of your cables is hanging up. have they been messed with lately? like putting risers on? some cable lube might be all it needs.

no I don't believe so I just bought the bike has no risers
