Just that they seem the most interested in telling folks how to enjoy themselves...
 Don't get me wrong: I'll not get on a bike without a helmet. I just don't think that trying to legislate common sense; is a good idea.
(I feel the same about seatbelt laws also!:D)

I DITTO that Bob.....
too many 'do gooders' telling the rest of America how to live.... NO, i would NEVER ride without one, but it should be my decision... and if i crash, it should be up to my insurance company to decide whether or not to pay the doctor bills..... just way too much NANNY STATE BS....

Well from living in a no helmet state, well over 20 years of age, I ride without a helmet but almost every ajoining state have helmet laws. So when i know that I'll be only riding in my home state I don't even pack the helmet. The ride is just so much more enjoyable than having a hot sweaty helmet on. MY brains, my decision.

I don't care if other riders ride with no helmet, I'll wear mine all the time. Like what they say "helmet laws are written in blood".

I have no problem with people riding with no helmet, crashing & dying. I do have a problem with my tax
$$$$'s paying for the hospital bill or disability for life to keep you watered like any other vegetable.
I always wear a helmet including when i ride a bicycle.

It has been confirmed! The most liberal states are the most uptight. http://www.moonbattery.com/archives/2009/05/most_liberal_st.html

So, Bob, California and New York are among the least effective places to start an ABATE chapter.

i voted with my feet back in 1990... Massachusetts, aka; Taxachusetts, wasn't the place i found to be a good place to live and raise my children.... SoCar has it all over any/all of the States mentioned... but don't tell anyone, they'll all want to move here....
