For anyone with a 2014 RT, what do you get for MPG when pulling a trailer? Also, how does the Spyder handle the trailer?

With a fully loaded '14 RT Limited and fully loaded trailer we averaged 36 mpg from the Boston area to Pickens, SC averaging 70mph on the highway.

With driver only, but loaded trailer..3 tanks averaged 39.6. Highway speed. No Eco mode

I seem to recall that the 998s would lose about 3 mpg on the typical trailer run... ;)

I am guessing that the improved mileage has to do with the re-done gearing and the lower bottom end torque.

I usually get between 28 & 32 with a loaded trailer. I probably drive faster than a lot of the people that responded and I also probably have a bit more weight in the trailer. I have gotten worse mileage in high wind conditions (low 20)

No passanger I get 32 but we are in Washington state and lots of hills. When I came back from
Chelan I got 39 so averaged with the 32 it would be 35.5

On our trip to Florida we got as low as 26 mpg (70 - 75 against the wind) and as high as 48 mpg (traveling the Keys 45-55 mph). For most of our miles at Interstate speed we got 36 mpg. We now have about 6,000 miles and will be headed West in a couple weeks to add about 5,000 more.
The mileage reports on the rear tire have made nervous about taking off on a long trip with ours already having 6,000 on it. I'm taking an Arachnid rear tire with me just in case. :pray:
