For the second time

Got gas this morning. Light came on at 199.5 miles. Filled it up at 200 miles and it took 5 gallons. Second time with a 40 miles per gallon :yes::yes::yes::yes:average.

Glad to hear about the good mileage you are getting.

My last two tanks were in the high 36's--which is okay with me. I have also been playing around with slightly higher rev's--after some discussions with another member on here. I have been running the rpms up to about 3000 and like the power band and shift points being a little more seamless. Still letting the :spyder2: downshift on its own.

I'm still trying to shift at lower RPM's, which is kinda hard after riding a GS. Worst mpg I've gotten is 30, best is 36. I noticed when going between 75-85 mph, the mpg does go down accordingly :D
