I have seen numerous photos of this over the past few years. My buddy was at a local BMW motorcycle store today and sent me this picture of one.

They have a BMW motor in them. They are ridiculous expensive....$44k. I would rather have a couple nice quads and couple nice jet skis for the same money....

I can see it now. You take it in the water, raise up the wheels, start the prop and get this tremendous vibration. Get it back on shore, start checking it out, and lo and behold, the prop is all bent to h***. That's when you realize the scraping noise an hour ago was the prop dragging on the big rock you went over while showing off!

Nope. Looks like another solution trying to find a problem to solve.

Seems like a very limited place you'd be able to use it. I know nowhere around here legally.

Ridiculous price.

Seems like the perfect rental for an island vacation.

In Europe, quads are, or at least can be, road legal. My Can Am Outlander 800 certainly was and carried my disabled body thousands of miles as it rode with my able bodied friends on their two wheelers. It was a bit of an unequal battle of course, but now I've evened up the odds a little!
