Chassis

Can anyone please tell me if the chassis is different on the RT compared to the RS/ST ?
Also has the chassis changed during the model years ? e.g. 2012 different to 2013

I believe in 2013 they changed the frame on the RT's. This was in preperation for the new engines in 2014. The ST has the RT frame and the rest stayed the same. Hense the suspision that the ST will get the new tripple in 2015...:dontknow:

The 13 & 14 RS also has the same frame, I believe. This frame was not just to make room for the 1330 but from what I have read it also handles a little better. I have not rode any Spyder older than 2013 so I cannot really comment on the handling difference.

08'-12' share the same frame RT and RS. 2013+ share the same frame RT, ST, and RS.
No frame differences between the models, only the model years.

The frame change was in prep for the new motor as well as cost savings keeping it the same for cross platform.
Same reason the RS went drive by wire too in 13'
