Well I upgraded spyders from a 2009 SE5 Spyder to the new 2014 Spyder SE6 RTS. I left Grand Junction yesterday morning and went to Lakewood (suburb of Denver) on 2009 Spyder and braved two snow flurries in mountains around Vail and Breckenridge to go get new Spyder. Drove new Spyder home the same day since dealership in Grand Junction did not even want to take old Spyder as trade in . But Denver RPM motorsports in Lakewood, Colorado was more than happy and made me a hell of a deal. Gave me 10K for old Spyder toward the new Spyder. Also I might add that they were Can Am No. 1 dealership in 2013. But anyway make a long story short I drove back on new Spyder back to Grand Junction same day and notice ride was 150% better than old, gas mileage was easily went from 22 MPG on old Spyder to 35 MPG on new Spyder with the 3 cylinder engine 1330 CC's but ran into the same snow storms I saw that morning but no problems on three wheels. 10 hours on Syder in one day gave me consideration for Iron Butt of the day award. LOL
Have a nice day

guess you have to go where they are willing to treat you right. Outside of the snow flurries sounds like a full ryding day and you really got to know your new machine. Hope the weather will improve so you can enjoy it more...:ohyea::ohyea:

Thanks Chup, weather in Grand Junction is perfect right now in seventies today and eighties for the weekend. Just at higher elevations on the trip was crappy. Have a safe riding weekend

Good to hear! I experienced the same with the local dealer. If you need parts Brandon is great to work with. But sales & service not there- hourly charge is horrendous for service. The Durango fun center has been great for sales & services has gone out of their way to accommodate me plus 75 an hr compared to 105 an hr at local dealer. Enjoy the Ryde!!!

Thanks that is good to know, RPM charges $100.00 per hour. On the new Spyder I did get the promotional 3 years warranty on it. but good to know on oil changes. The 2014 spyder oil change I heard you have to take half of one side off to do the oil change, Does yours have same problem??

Thanks again
