Len has said in the few weeks he will put out the dates. This year it was between Easter and Mother's Day. Unfortunately for 2015 those dates are five weeks apart. Lol. Will try to get him to get it out soon. There are a few things that need to be secured before dates are released. Please understand that there is a lot that goes into planning this event. Thoughts for SF 2015 we in thought well before SF 2014 even started.

Len, I vote for the Lamplighter again (not that you asked for my vote :roflblack:) While it was nothing fancy it was very accommodating to our large group. Having the bar and the large meeting areas was a big plus. I was so tired each night that I could have slept on the floor so the room was adequate for my needs.

And the fancy hotels were right next door for my fussier friends!

Just talked to Vanessa. They are "not yet at liberty" to announce dates, but she said it will be "close to the same dates as 2014 (which were April 28-May 3)." They are still working to secure rooms. Dates should be announced in the fall, and registration opens January 1, 2015. That's the latest scoop, straight from the folks who know best.

I and many others are going to be royally you know what if they make an announcement and the host hotel is sold out before hand to folks with insider information. I really do not think MoGang crew would roll this way. If the hotel is sold out, that may be why they have not announced due to the conflict.

Wife and I have never been to SF but are planning to go in 15. Would not think the event planners would start off on that bad a foot forward alienating everyone they want to invite.....

Ahh....just checked the Lamplighter north for dates Apr 27 to May 2 and shows available rooms the whole week. $72 std rate. Don't think its sold out.

Well, just to be safe, I just booked a room at the Lamplighter North, Apr 26 thru May 2nd at $72. It can be cancelled or changed up to day before arrival so no cost if the dates need to change later. Hope I got it covered, at least I tried. My luck is I got it a week off......just went by what folks here are speculating.

But rooms are available.

Hang in there... MOGANG is working diligently to get the dates, hotels and general events set up. For an all volunteer group, they are doing the best they can. I'll bet we'll all hear news within a few weeks.

No, we do not even know the dates yet, nor the hotel(s). One of the reasons the rooms are booked is a lot of people every year book BEFORE they even leave from the present year.

Trust me, Len/Vanessa will let us know as soon as they can. They understand we all need to know the dates but this is a very large venue and Pitbull and Mogang want everything to be as good as it can get. :yes::yes:

Talked with Randy at Best Western he quoted me the Spyderfest rates for the hotel. We have reservations confirmed for the of week 4-27th.....Now just have to wait til then.......like a kid at Christmas.

Yep, I went online to the Ozark fairgrounds and it is booked starting April 29th for something called the Spyder festival????????????????. Also, the host hotel from last year (Lamplighter) is totally booked for the same time frame??? does that tell us something??? I don't understand why they are "trying" to keep the dates a secret??????? doing a poor job from the info I found.

Little birdie says the dates have been known for some time, problem is that the event has outgrown the capacity of the Lamplighter Hotel to host. Rumor is that there will now be multiple host hotels. Details and corrections at 5....

Just about all finalized and everything ready to announce, A lot more details this year is going into the event. We are working to have 4 host hotels and CAMPING.... YES CAMPING ON SITE AT THE FAIRGROUNDS where there are several events happing this year.
