14 RT owners, you owe it to yourself and your Spyder to get SPYDERPOPS new KOTT (Keep Out The Trash) grilles. They did their job on my 1100+ ryde home from Spyderfest.

These sit forward of the ones already on the stock RT. The OEM ones are so far back that anything that goes in will just stay there. With the KOTTs, the trash will go against them and then sweep out to the side.

I was able to get Harvey to sell me a pair to bring home and install later. He doesn't have them on his web-site yet, because they haven't written installation instructions. So I'm awaiting instructions and then I'll get them on my '14.

Too new. That explains it. I jumped over to their page before scrolling through all the posts. Looks like a good piece to add. Can't wait to see pricing and installation info.

I have them on my 2014 RT-S they are pretty simple to install, 4 plastic blocks on each side with Double sided tape, put the grills in, and two screws into the side blocks and, TA-DA you are done, they really keep the trash out.

I was hoping that I had a picture of my 2014 stuffed full of tumbleweed but I couldn't find one. On my trip to NM in January both sides of the Spyder were packed full of them and if you have ever touched tumbleweed you will know that they are prickly. I had Spyderpops install the KOTT during Spyderfest and I made it home tumbleweed free!

My eyeballs aren't quite co-operating tonight after 8 hours in school...
Are they finished in Black, or in bright stainless?

It's called SB, stainless black. I'll be doing exactly the same with my 3D ss grille set for my ST-L.
I asked Harvey if the produced them in black and was told they didn't and that most customers that wanted them black painted them.
So that's what I'll be doing.

I just installed them on my bike and I personally think the ss is nice and looks classy on my pearl white RT.

My bro got my KOTTs installed this week. He doesn't see the point of them, but I'm the one who cleaned out the debris with a pair of tweezers! On my way to Colo. I'll see how they do.

I painted mine black also
Yep I'm from California
The one change I made was instead of using the 2 lower blocks to screw the grill on, I used 2 magnetic cabinet latches so you just pull them out for cleaning
