Hello every one my name is Jim and I am a new member and hopefully soon a new owner of a 2014 RT. I am test riding one this Saturday , the 2014 RT-S SM6. In many posts that I have seen here and other sites people are riding the RT Limited with the semi automatic. Is there any body out there that rides the SM6 ?

well welcome to this wonderful site. When I see the picture of your new ryde the a big welcome to the roadster world...the test ryde is going to push you over the edge. As for semi-auto or manual is a choice. All I drive is manual and the only way for me. Love the control and the simplicity...you choose..!!:ohyea:

:welcome: to the Party Jim. Yes, I drive a 2014 sm6 RT Limited. Why, do you have questions about it. I'm no expert, but if so, ask them and if I can't answer them for you, I'm sure there are others that will chime in and get you the information you need.

You will find that most people have the SE, but there are still some people who have the SM like myself. I want as much of the motorcycle experience as possible and love doing the manual shifting. Welcome and good luck with your purchase.

I thought I'd wait at least until he says he's actually got it in his possession, Bob.

:welcome: Like others have posted, SE or SM--either is great. It all depends on your choice. I currently drive an SE but originally had a manual and it was just fine.
