TricRings install?

Has anyone tries TricRings on an ST?

i talked to a guy at a local shop saying it was a bad idea. That the casing for headlight is glued together and after its lets moisture in etc.

im not sure if you even can do it.

I'm after a similar thing, but want to fit them around my day running lights which I believe are your fog lights in the States. I have an Australian spec ST Ltd, I have emailed the company to see if they do a kit just for this.
