I just recently ordered some flags. I ordered my state flag and USA flag from here. http://www.mountainmotorcycleflagpoles.com/national.htm. You can also custom order flags as well from this place. http://www.northstarflags.com/custom-motorcycle-flags2.html . I may decide to order custom made flags for myself when I decide what I want to purchase. I ordered these Rivco mounts from Value accessories. http://store.valueaccessories.net/TrunkMountedDoubleFlagHolderSetCan-AmSpyderRT.aspx. You can also get some flags from here as well.

When you buy a flagholder from ISCI they include an American Flag.

Thanks for the links, I assumed the flags were on a round pole, looks like most have some kind of custom mount that cost lots of $$$. I was thinking of making a flag mount that fastens to the trailer hitch ball... Seems like the flag is minor bucks compared to the pole or am I totally confused?

The big expense is the flag holding bars. There are several, mostly seen the ones that mount to the trunk and license plate braket. Have also seen requests for stronger holders for big parade flags...nice project JT...:2thumbs:

Depending on what size flag you are looking for but the Flag People offer all kinds of flags even custom. Check them out.

Take this for what it is worth. I ordered three (3) Flags from Rumbling Pride in September 2013. They have yet to fulfill the order. I am still missing a "Gold Star" from them. Trust me when I say, I have done everything within the law to try to receive either the flag or a refund. To date, I have nothing. When a company refuses to talk to you on the phone, when they don't respond to emails, and when they don't even respond to "snail-mail"...I thinks it's about time to put them on blast!!!!! My next door neighbor's daughter taught me that saying. It sounds more cool when she says it!
Back to the point, "Buyer Beware" when it comes to Bumbling Pr....,I mean Rumbling Pride. Nuff Said!!

Steve, I would like to see that holder on your Spyder next time we meet. Unless you have a picture?
I wanted to get the Show Chrome model that mounts under the trunk lid but I see that will interfere with the 4th break light strip.
I assume that's why you went with the ICSI?

They don't block the OEM brake/running lights or the trunk lid light. During a slow parade I mounted my cousin's picture, who served in VN and flag on the OEM FM and CB antenna. Again, that was a very slow ride. I don't fly the flags on everyday ride, just special events. The ISCI flag mount, 70+ mph, no problem. I have the tall ISCI flag mount cause a SL sold it to me for $50.

SWEET! Thanks for the pics!
I like it... But man... $200?
But I guess that's the only choice since the trunk lid model wont work with the 4th break light strip.

It is pricey but they are really nice and super sturdy. You do need to get the tall ones though since the short poles block the tail lights.

It doesn't get much lower than that, stiffing you on a Gold Star flag, of all things. I hope you have complained to the Better Business Bureau and anyone else that will listen.

That's why I like to always use my AMEX card to buy stuff. No deliver, call Amex, and get money back. They just charge back the seller. If the seller insists on Paypal, I use my Amex card on Paypal. No deliver, no pay.

My setup ...

Rivco trunk mount - does not hide any lights. I use 10.5 x 15 flags ... Remember the US flag is mounted on the right as you view the rear of the bike.

For escorts, I have this setup on my hitch. Using a 3 x 5 flag on a 5' pole works well, even at highway speeds.

Actually No, I use a garden hoe handle from Home Depot, re inforced with nylon strapping tape. I will try to find my pics and put them on here later today. The spyder is calling my name and it is above 40

For what it's worth, I have talked to all of my friends at this issue. It took awhile, but we formally filed a complaint with BBB. Do I see a resolution on the horizon? Not really. I just chalk it up as one of life's lessons. My apologizes to the OP. My intent was not to hi-jack your thread. Just thought I would put the word out about a "non-sponsor vender".

Perhaps a few emails from this community to Rumbling Pride, stating that we'll never buy from them unless they make good your order, John? I'll leave it up to you . . . put your name in a response, and, perhaps, an order number, so we can send emails to them that tell them who's order we are upset about? I am running four flags on the back of the Spyder..........two are on a mount that is behind the license plate. The unit is chrome and came from Custom Cruiser or Cruiser Customs ( can't remember which). I have 5 x 9 flags on them, Patriot Guard and MIA flags. I also have the Rivco Flag Mount that mounts under the rear trunk and run 10 x 15 American flags on them. The flags came from the Flag Store on the internet. They are not highway rated but I have had no problem with them running 65 miles/hr. Any faster I just coil them up and put a couple of heavy duty rubber bands around them until I get where I'm going. Hope this helps

You can also try the Honda Motorcycle Dealership. That's where I got mine from and they fit my RT-S fine.

Good luck.

I have the Show Chrome 3rd and 4th break lights. So there is a strip of LEDs going around the trunk lid crack. Pretty sure a trunk lid flag mount wont work with these lights strips being there.

So I am looking for the tall flag license plate type mount.

I have looked at many options too but it is hard to let go of that much green. Uncle Sam seems to like to take more than his fair share which is really crimping our bike budget. That and having two to outfit with these items hurts. :yikes:

If you ever get time, we would love to see what your adaptation looks like. We're always concerned about the amount of vibration and metal stress on the un-sprung hitch, but it's always GREAT to see the forum members' innovations!

At SpyderFest this year I introduced my Seal Parade Guard Flag Holders. The Flag pole tubes have LED light strips on hem that act as running, turn and flashers. They are designed for the large 3x5 Flags and attach to your ball hitch. Check my website and………….
