View Full Version : Good Day On The New Spyder

Well, the weather was stellar and we did some Spyder cruising after going to a nearby parking lot this morning and practicing all the maneuvers in the manual. Even stopped at Walmart and bought the small orange cones. Same moves as the Basic Rider Course but since the wife hasn't taken that yet this was great practice for her as well as a good refresher for me. It's true the more you ride these things the more you love 'em! What a cool, awesome machine!

It WAS a great day to spin the wheels some...
I did a touch over 80 miles; up and over the Shawangunk Ridge...
The 1330 likes pull harder, in a higher gear... :2thumbs:
...rather than downshifting! :D

You will be pro's in no time. Glad you did some practice runs first. We just played out back a bit and when we rolled in we had covered 150+ miles. This will be a common occurance with you as well....enjoy and be safe..!! :clap::ohyea::ohyea:

Glad to hear you like your new :spyder2:. It does get better with time.

We did 300 miles this weekend. The best weather so far this season. 62 above in places today.
