"SPYDERS IN THE DESERT OVERNIGHTER"

(LAUGHLIN / OATMAN / HAVASU)


We welcome “all” to come share our first Spyder Overnighter of 2014. We have a fun packed 3-day adventure that will sure to entertain you. The host hotel will be Harrah’s in Laughlin Nevada.

Day 1: with several meet-up locations in and around Los Angeles our final meet-up will be in Victorville (More info coming soon) Breakfast stop will be at the McDonalds in Barstow. Our ride will continue on highway 40 to Laughlin. Checking in and freshening up at our host hotel, Harrah’s Laughlin 2900 S. Casino Drive, Laughlin, NV 89029 (702) 298-4600 ($20.99 a night).






We will then take a short ride over the bridge to Bullhead City and visit an amazing motorcycle accessories store Cathie’z Leather and Accessories store. They have a huge inventory of motorcycle leather clothing, patches, helmets, riding boots and a ton of one-of-a-kind accessories. From there we will have a dinner stop at The Black Bear Diner 1751 Arizona 95 #25, Bullhead City, AZ 86442. We will finish the day off by returning back to Harrah’s Hotel.

Day 2: Breakfast at 8:00 am at the McDonalds inside the Harrah’s hotel. Our ride will start at 9:00 am we will ride to the former mining town in the black hills of Oatman, Arizona 86433. Stepping back in time we will explore the western ghost town for about an hour. From there we will ride the back roads seeing some of the most beautiful desert landscape. Another amazing sight we will stop at is Cross Mountain. Have your cameras ready. You won’t want to miss this very unusual sight.
We will continue our adventure as we make our way through winding roads to Route 66 as our next stop will be some historical landmarks and sights. We will ride into Kingman for fuel and then off to Lake Havasu. We will hit the highlight areas of Havasu as we explore the snowbird town. We will end our day riding back to Harrah’s hotel and have dinner at their buffet.

Day 3: Our ride back home will possibly have two routes to go back.
Route One will be heading back the 40 highway to the 15 freeway with our breakfast/lunch stop at Peggy Sue’s Restaurant 35654 W Yermo Rd, Yermo, CA 92398 (A short detour)
Route Two: will be going back through Joshua tree. Lunch stop to be determined later)

This is an open event for two wheel and three wheel motorcycles.

Using this code will allow you to get you an up graded deluxe room of a rate of $20.00 a night.
We have an additional savings for one of our dinners at the buffet at Harrah’s on the second night. Scotty has secured the discount meal ticket of $12.99 (A savings of $6.00 off). He will be paying this personally to secure the price so we need an exact headcount. (Please reimburse Scotty by the first night stay). Wish I could make this one but alas not this time. Have a great SRA-LA ride all and cant wait to see pics and vids :)

This was a great, well planned event by the club. It was our first group spyder ryde and we had a good time meeting all the friendly La. members, not to mention having our pictures taken among burros and gunslingers. Can't wait to see the videos. Didn't win at the casino, but, made a haul in the raffles the group sponsored for charity.

This was a great, well planned event by the club.
